The new EMBL Advanced Training Centre (ATC) - which celebrated its grand opening in March 2010 - is a unique venue in the heart of the Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan region promoting advanced scientific training and education in Europe.

Inspired by the double helical shape of DNA, the ATC hosts state-of-the-art meeting rooms, laboratories for practical courses, and computer labs, together with a spacious 466 seat Auditorium.

The ATC also features a new staff restaurant, delivering high quality event catering, as well as setting the right atmosphere for special receptions in the Auditorium Foyer or in the spectacular Rooftop Lounge and Terrace with its breathtaking view.
